Oatmeal Cookies , because I love you!

We deserve a treat every now and then, but a treat tastes better when not followed by heavy conscience, right? With these delicious cookies I have it covered! They are indeed a treat, because, man, they are delicious, and with these ingredients they are low-fat and low-carb, plus they are packed with healthy ingredients, among which, my beloved oats… I couldn’t bake and not use oats, it doesn’t seem natural anymore! Do you know why? Because oats are insanely healthy!

You might notice that I add whey protein powder to this recipe, sometimes I do that. By adding protein powder when backing, one can cut down the carbs and raise up the protein, this way, these cookies are also a perfect post-workout snack!

As you might have noticed here, I am obsessed with oatmeal! A healthy obsession, one must say, being oats one of the worlds superfoods, I couldn’t be more happier with this obsession!

Thinking not only about a way to make his breakfasts a bit healthier, but also in a faster and easier way to intake my daily portion of oatmeal, I decided to revamp the meal into something that everyone love it: a good old muffin!!

I adore pie, I would cook it more often if not so lazy, truth be said, usually pie is a heavy dish, made with some not so healthy ingredients and an enormous quantity of wheat flour and butter. Oatmeal and apple power breakfast

Good morning gorgeous people!

Do I always wake up feeling this great? well…. give me a few hours!

But honestly, I am an early morning workout person – I don’t particularly love leaving the warmth of my bed before 7am, walk 15 minutes in snow/rain/cold/sometimes good weather just to throw myself at the dumbbells, bosu and TRX – but I figure it out that its the best time of the day, for me, to hit the gym.
